Announcing the App Portal MCP Server: Debug Webhooks with your Agent

Svix has introduced an App Portal MCP server that enables customers to connect coding agents to their white-labeled webhook portals for automated integration debugging. Using the Model Context Protocol, agents can inspect webhook endpoints, delivery success and failure counts, sent messages, delivery attempts, response status codes and bodies, and endpoint transformations, while also resending messages or replaying failed deliveries. The hosted service uses application-scoped tokens generated through the App Portal, limiting each agent’s access to the same data visible in that customer’s portal session. Organizations can enable the feature in their settings, after which customers can obtain a token and configure compatible agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, and Zed without an OAuth flow. Svix positions the server as a way to reduce the manual switching between webhook logs and development environments, allowing users to ask agents directly about issues such as failing endpoints.
