Surreal Sidekick is an AI assistant integrated into the Surreal Cloud panel within the Surrealist graphical database management interface, designed to enhance productivity for SurrealDB users. Available as both a web and desktop application, Sidekick assists users by debugging queries, answering questions with the latest documentation, and optimizing SurrealDB usage. It supports multiple languages, generates and explains queries, and helps with command-line interface (CLI) tasks, making it a versatile tool for database management. Sidekick not only aids in writing queries but also in understanding complex syntax and debugging errors, offering insights into issues such as record ID formatting. While still in beta, Sidekick continuously learns from user interactions and is expected to improve over time, with planned updates to keep it aligned with the latest SurrealDB features.
