Our new demo dataset has a lot in store for you!

The 2.0-alpha release of SurrealDB introduces a new demo dataset based on an actual e-commerce store, SurrealDB.store, which features real products for purchase but uses generated dummy data for other details. This updated dataset includes comprehensive schema definitions, showcasing advanced data modeling features like assertions, default values, and record links, alongside graph relations and various index types for optimized searches. Additionally, it incorporates time-sortable identifiers using ULIDs and realistic product reviews generated using local LLMs, enhancing the dataset's realism and educational value. The dataset aims to provide a practical learning tool for understanding SurrealDB's capabilities and is set to evolve with more features and examples as the 2.0 release approaches.
