Triplit joins Supabase

Supabase has announced the acquisition of Matt Linkous, co-founder of Triplit, to leverage his expertise in offline-first technology, not by directly integrating Triplit into their platform but by enhancing third-party integrations. The focus is on creating a seamless integration system with tools like ElectricSQL, Zero, and PowerSync, making Supabase an excellent partner for syncing systems. Triplit, already largely open-source, will see further open-sourcing and documentation of its codebase under Matt's guidance, contributing to the offline-first community. Supabase acknowledges the demand for improved offline mode functionality and is committed to exploring optimal solutions while maintaining transparent communication as they evolve their strategies.
