Summary

Supabase has announced the release of Postgres Functions and Triggers in their Dashboard, with plans to launch Supabase Functions in stages. The first stage includes giving developers the ability to trigger external HTTP functions using Database Webhooks (previously called "Function Hooks"). In the second stage, they will provide support for developers to trigger their own Serverless functions on AWS and GCP. Finally, in the third stage, they plan to release Supabase Functions themselves. The new features aim to make it easier for developers to build PostgreSQL Functions and manage PostgreSQL triggers.
