Stream has introduced a new Chat Logs feature to its Chat Dashboard, enhancing the debugging process for applications using the Stream Chat API. This feature provides a user-friendly table that organizes API event data, allowing developers to quickly identify and troubleshoot issues without manually searching for error codes. The logs are color-coded for easy recognition of error response codes and can be filtered by various parameters such as response code, API request type, time, or user ID. The Chat Logs also offer an expandable side panel with detailed event information, which aids debugging by displaying error messages and other relevant data. This update is part of Stream's ongoing efforts to simplify integration and improve the developer experience, alongside additional enhancements to the Android and iOS SDKs, which now include tutorials, sample apps, and support for new API features like Slow Mode and Pinned Messages.
