Introducing Ranked Feeds
Blog post from Stream
The release of the Beta version of Ranked Feeds introduces a new way to sort feeds beyond the traditional chronological order, aiming to enhance user engagement by featuring activities that are popular, have many comments, or are promoted. Users can apply different decay functions like decay_gauss, decay_exp, or decay_linear to manage the visibility of older items, although this feature is currently restricted to paid plans and applicable only to flat feeds. As a Beta release, user feedback is encouraged, and those interested in using the feature must contact support for activation. Additionally, the company is in the alpha testing phase of a new analytics platform and personalized feeds, with early access registration available.
