Announcing Stream’s New Dashboard Experience

Stream is launching a new beta version of its dashboard, which originally supported its Feeds product and now also accommodates the Chat application with features like moderation tools and configuration for webhooks and push notifications. The new dashboard aims to deliver a consistent, high-quality user experience, leveraging advancements in front-end development and the booming JavaScript ecosystem to create more performant and engaging web experiences. Built anew with React, the v2 beta offers a faster UI, improved loading times, seamless app switching, and enhancements to the Chat Moderation and Data Explorer screens while maintaining the overall look of the original dashboard. Users can provide feedback directly from the dashboard and switch between the new and original versions until the full release is achieved, which aims for complete feature parity and promises quicker development of new features based on user feedback.
