15 Stream Maker Account Projects We Love

Stream has grown from a small startup to a global company with over 100 employees, thanks to the support of mentors, investors, and tech providers. To give back, Stream launched the Maker Account in March 2021, offering its activity feed and chat APIs to early-stage tech innovators with fewer than five team members, less than $100K in funding, and under $100K in annual revenue or $10K MRR. This initiative has enabled a wide array of projects, including a wellness platform in Seattle, a marketplace for artists, a halal food community app, a bartering app in Oslo, a fishing regulation guide, a recipe and sustainability app from Stockholm, a support network for parents of children with special needs, a refugee integration app in Switzerland, and numerous other creative ventures. Stream's APIs have been instrumental in accelerating product development and fostering niche communities worldwide, demonstrating their value in diverse applications from social wellness to travel and dating platforms.
