Strapi development has been slower than expected due to the focus on customer projects, but improvements were made to Strapi through these developments and it will be tested in production environments. The team is now back working full-time on Strapi v3, introducing an updated roadmap with alpha releases scheduled for August and September. A new developer, Cyril, has joined the team to accelerate development and a survey has been created to collect opinions on the next steps of the project. The public Strapi Slack channel has been created for updates on Strapi v3 and a dedicated channel will be available.
