Strapi, an open-source headless CMS, is enhancing its platform with the introduction of the Releases feature, designed to streamline content updates and rollouts by bundling content for simultaneous publication. This feature, part of Strapi 4, will be included in the Strapi 5 version, offering a centralized system for organizing and reviewing content, which is particularly useful for coordinating content with product launches. Releases are currently compatible with collection types, with plans to extend to single types and integrate with Review Workflows, enabling content management based on different stages of the review process. Additionally, Strapi has introduced Manual Restoration of Backups, allowing users to recover data easily alongside automated backups. The upcoming Strapi 5 promises more innovations, with an invitation for users to provide feedback and shape the final product. Strapi Cloud offers a 14-day free trial to experience these features, and enhancements such as bug fixes in version v4.19 have been implemented to improve user experience.
