Strapi Cloud is a hosted Content Management System (CMS) designed to seamlessly integrate developers and content editors by combining local development workflows with low-code user interfaces, simplifying deployment and hosting without sacrificing customization capabilities. Since its announcement at StrapiConf 2022, interest has grown significantly, leading to a closed alpha program that has involved user feedback to refine the product. With the release of the beta-0, Strapi Cloud is gradually opening to more users on a first-come, first-serve basis, targeting projects built on a Postgres database and hosted on GitHub. The platform will offer collaboration, security, and compliance features, with usage-based pricing set to be unveiled in Q1 2023. Beta testers currently have free access and can receive discounts by adding a credit card to their accounts. Strapi Cloud supports migration from self-hosted projects, with expanded repository support planned for later in 2023. The service aims for high uptime and compliance certifications, and users retain control over their stack, with the option to integrate third-party services.
