Blog post from Statsig
Statsig announced product updates aimed at helping teams scale experimentation as AI-assisted development increases software delivery speed. Statsig MCP v3 now matches the Console API’s capabilities for agent use, adds granular role-based permissions, and reduces token usage by 43%, supporting safer creation and management of gates and experiments across interfaces. Dynamic configurations now receive stale-state alerts when they are unmaintained, unreferenced, and neither permanent nor archived, helping teams remove or formalize outdated configurations. The company also introduced Agent Experimentation, which combines configurable AI agents, offline and online evaluations, LLM judging, user-interaction traces, and A/B testing to assess both qualitative performance and business impact. In addition, Statsig is beta testing Statbot, an in-console, initially read-only agent designed to help users access information and eventually perform Statsig actions through chat, with further updates planned for the November 5 product webinar.
