Stainless Docs Platform: now in public beta
Blog post from Stainless
The Stainless Docs Platform, introduced in November of last year, has evolved to accommodate both AI agents and human developers, offering a public beta that enhances API documentation with features like AI-powered chat and a code-first approach. This platform allows API designers to build customized experiences and provides a seamless integration of API and SDK references, enabling developers to interact with real method signatures and language-specific examples. It supports a docs-as-code workflow, allowing teams to manage documentation like application code, and features a flexible theming system for branding consistency. The platform improves developer experience with advanced search capabilities and UI components, while infrastructure enhancements like Cloudflare edge caching ensure fast page loads. As it progresses towards a 1.0 release, the platform plans to open-source much of its code, expand use cases, and further refine its functionalities, especially in AI chat and documentation accuracy.
