Stainless has announced the general availability of its Ruby SDK and Terraform provider generators, along with significant upgrades to its TypeScript, Go, and Java SDK generators, aimed at enhancing developer experience and efficiency. The improved free tier now includes support for up to five SDKs, three seats, and an MCP server without requiring a credit card, making it accessible for early-stage companies and hobbyists. The Ruby SDK has been upgraded for better maintenance and endpoint coverage, while the Terraform provider now supports more resources and features robust deployments. The TypeScript V2 generator offers a fetch-native client with type safety, and the Go V2 update provides a redesigned JSON model for improved development experience. Additionally, the Java generator has been enhanced for complex OpenAPI specs with new features like streaming support.
