Bolt 100K Open Source Fund

Since its launch at ViteConf 2024, Bolt has seen exponential growth, largely driven by community support and open-source collaboration. StackBlitz, the company behind Bolt, has been investing in open-source projects, notably Vite and Vitest, and has expanded its open-source team by hiring key developers. In 2025, StackBlitz is furthering its commitment to open-source with the announcement of the Bolt 100K Open Source Fund, which will provide monthly financial contributions to various developers and projects like Volar, emnapi, napi.rs, and others. The initiative is part of StackBlitz's broader participation in the Open Source Pledge, alongside 30 other companies, to support the sustainability of the open-source ecosystem. Additional projects such as pkg.pr.new and TutorialKit also reflect StackBlitz's dedication to enhancing web development tools and fostering interactive learning through open-source platforms.
