Google Cloud Unveils A4 VMs with NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs for AI

Google Cloud has introduced its A4 virtual machines (VMs) equipped with NVIDIA's Blackwell B200 GPUs, which significantly enhance AI workloads by offering a 2.25x increase in compute capabilities and high bandwidth memory over the previous A3 VMs. These VMs feature advanced networking and integration with Google Kubernetes Engine, supporting extensive AI infrastructure and enabling seamless AI development through Vertex AI. CoreWeave has also launched NVIDIA GB200 NVL72-based instances, making the Blackwell platform generally available, designed to handle AI reasoning models with high computational demands. Additionally, Google Cloud's A3 Ultra VMs with NVIDIA H200 GPUs provide an accessible enterprise-grade performance option for distributed AI workloads. At the 2025 CES, Nvidia revealed Project DIGITS, a desktop AI system powered by a Grace CPU and Blackwell GPU Superchip, aimed at the AI and HPC markets, while SSOJet offers a secure user management solution with single sign-on and multi-factor authentication features.
