SDK Hooks: Safely add custom logic to your SDKs

Speakeasy has introduced SDK Hooks, a feature that allows users to inject custom code into their SDKs at specified events during runtime, marking a shift from creating HTTP clients to providing full SDK functionality. This feature enables developers to extend their SDKs with business logic or transformations outside of the API definition by utilizing four types of hooks: SDK initialization, pre-request, post-request success, and post-request error. The introduction of Hooks opens up various possibilities, such as custom authentication, logging, error handling, and caching, allowing for more sophisticated and tailored SDK integrations. Speakeasy is also planning to expand the functionality of SDK Hooks by adding more hook types in the future, inviting feedback from users to enhance the tool's capabilities further.
