Speakeasy introduces a self-service API key management solution that can be easily integrated with various API gateways, streamlining the process for API developers and users. This feature allows users to create and revoke API keys through a developer experience portal, enhancing the overall API user journey by externalizing key management through an OpenAPI Spec extension. Compatible with API gateways that support OIDC2 workflows and external token sources, including Google Cloud Endpoints, Kong, Apigee, and AWS API Gateway, this solution reduces the manual effort involved in API key distribution. Additionally, Speakeasy's developer portal embeds have been updated to support dark mode, ensuring a consistent and visually appealing developer experience across different settings.
