Gitar’s Early Access Release at LaunchDarkly Galaxy

Gitar announced its first product at LaunchDarkly’s Galaxy 2024 conference, offering limited early access to a bot that automatically creates pull or merge requests to remove stale LaunchDarkly feature flags from cloud-hosted repositories. The product supports JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Go, and Python, with additional language support planned, and performs deep cleanup of now-unused code, tests, and JSX or TSX components while accommodating custom APIs that wrap LaunchDarkly SDKs. Initial users can manually trigger cleanup through the bot, while future versions are intended to integrate directly with LaunchDarkly to initiate cleanup when flags become stale, add on-premises deployment support, and eventually extend compatibility to other feature flag providers.
