Transparency and Control in the Age of AI and Complex Fraud
Blog post from Socure
Socure Signals is a risk intelligence offering that opens access to more than 250 features underlying Socure’s fraud, identity verification, and risk-scoring models, aiming to help enterprises address increasingly industrialized and AI-enabled fraud. The features include input-derived signals from identity data, documents, biometrics, and user behavior; model-derived signals generated by proprietary AI and computer-vision models; and graph-derived signals from local enterprise relationships and Socure’s broader identity network. The platform is intended to provide organizations with greater transparency into risk factors, enable customized fraud rules and internal models, and reveal patterns such as suspicious identity reuse, coordinated fraud rings, and unusual activity volumes. Socure cites a fintech example in which carrier-specific fraud signals and combined model outputs reportedly helped identify 81% of fake accounts that had previously evaded its defenses.
