Introducing DocV Omega: Verify the identity, not just the ID
Blog post from Socure
Socure introduces DocV Omega, an evolution of its Document Verification product designed to counter growing AI-assisted fraud such as synthetic documents, deepfakes, and injection attacks by evaluating interconnected evidence rather than isolated checks. The system combines more than 2,400 predictive variables across ten intelligence pillars, including document, biometric, identity, device, behavioral, network, phone, velocity, consortium, and journey-context data, to produce a calibrated 0–1 fraud score with reason codes and underlying signal visibility. Socure reports that, compared with predictive DocV, DocV Omega captured 98% of fraud in the riskiest 5% of transactions, increased detection of synthetic and counterfeit documents by 50%, improved injection and deepfake detection by 43%, and reduced latency by 50%, with P95 performance as low as 250 milliseconds. The product is intended to adapt decisions to factors such as onboarding stage, verification channel, industry, and use case, while allowing customers to configure thresholds and routes for approval, review, step-up verification, or rejection through RiskOS. Socure also plans webinars for existing and prospective customers on October 20 to explain the product, rollout, and configuration options.
