Introducing Data Exports
Blog post from Socket
Socket has launched Data Exports, a new integration feature that allows security teams to transfer alert data directly into their own cloud storage systems such as AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, or Azure Blob Storage. This feature provides flexibility in data format selection, including JSON, CSV, and Parquet, and offers both full snapshot and incremental export modes. By integrating with existing cloud environments, Data Exports enables teams to manage alert data retention, analytics, and ingestion according to their established workflows without being tied to a specific storage pattern. The setup process is designed to be straightforward, with a testing feature to ensure correct configuration. Data Exports supports daily export scheduling, organizing files in a predictable path structure to facilitate automation and management. This integration not only streamlines the operationalization of security findings but also lays the groundwork for future enhancements and specific SIEM integrations, with the service currently available on Enterprise plans.
