New Azure Support: Snowplow Now Supports Microsoft's Cloud Platform
Blog post from Snowplow
Microsoft Azure users can now access the Snowplow Behavioral Data Platform (BDP), which allows for the collection, processing, and storage of behavioral data within the Azure infrastructure, alongside existing support for AWS and GCP. This integration enhances Azure's data ecosystem by offering seamless integration with Azure Data Lake, OneLake, Fabric, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks, providing flexibility for creating business intelligence reports, dashboards, and AI applications. Snowplow BDP enables real-time, first-party data collection across digital platforms without relying on third-party analytics tools, circumventing browser restrictions and enabling accurate customer profiling. The platform's Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) model ensures that all data is processed and stored within the user's cloud environment, facilitating compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR. Additionally, Snowplow BDP, which holds ISO 27001 certification, offers robust security features that, when paired with Azure's security offerings, create highly secure and compliant data solutions suitable for SOC-2 and HIPAA-compliant deployments.
