Microsoft Azure, as a leading cloud service provider, is now supported by Snowplow, which has introduced a quick start guide for deploying its open-source pipeline on Azure. This initial release allows users to collect and manage rich behavioral data within their Azure accounts, and load it into Snowflake, with setup automated via Terraform modules. Feedback is encouraged on Discourse to aid future development. Additionally, Snowplow offers BDP Cloud for those preferring a SaaS solution that integrates with Snowflake or Databricks on Azure, without requiring non-Azure infrastructure. The announcement also outlines plans to expand Azure support across various platforms like Databricks, Microsoft Synapse, and Azure Data Lake, and to extend Azure compatibility to the Snowplow BDP Enterprise offering, with interested parties invited to join a waiting list.
