Everything New We've Launched in Our Product This Year

In the past year, Sigma has introduced over 66 new features and updates aimed at enhancing analytics and business intelligence experiences. Significant advancements include new visualizations, financial and geography functions, improved chart layouts, and more API endpoints, among others. Key features launched in 2023 such as Input Tables, Version Tagging, and the Period Over Period Workflow have redefined user interaction with data by enabling functionalities like writing back data into warehouses, managing workbook versions, and simplifying dynamic period comparisons. Additionally, enhancements in data visualization, flexible data modeling, column-level security, and custom functions have been made to improve user experience and data governance. Sigma has also improved authentication security with OAuth, added user attributes for Snowflake connections, and introduced an audit log for tracking user-initiated events.
