To address this, Sentry is releasing a new "Roles" feature that simplifies access controls by introducing four primary levels: Owner, Manager, Admins, and Member. These roles provide more granular permissions, allowing teams to manage their organization's structure and workflow more efficiently. The new feature also introduces team membership improvements, including the ability for users to request access to existing teams without administrator approval. Sentry plans to continue evaluating its access controls and simplifying things where possible, with a focus on providing the best possible experience for its users.
