Confidently Manage Multiple Projects with Sentry's New Spend Allocation and Spike Protection

Sentry has introduced two new features: Spend Allocation and updated Spike Protection, designed to help teams manage multiple projects with different levels of event consumption more effectively. The new Spend Allocation feature allows users to set minimum event thresholds per project across their reserved errors, transactions, and attachments in real-time, ensuring every project gets its fair share of quota. Meanwhile, the improved Spike Protection detects spikes per project, giving users more granular control and visibility, as well as algorithm updates to make detection more accurate. The updated feature aims to prevent noisy projects from consuming all available events while leaving other projects without sufficient resources, thereby helping teams maintain visibility into their application health during incidents.
