Summary

We've recently added two significant features to the User Feedback widget in Sentry: user-generated screenshots and automatic spam detection. The former allows users to attach screenshots directly to their reports, providing more context for developers to troubleshoot issues. This feature is particularly useful for users who may not be familiar with technical terms or want to highlight specific components on a page that are causing problems. Meanwhile, the latter uses Google's PaLM 2 model to automatically detect spammy feedback submissions and move them to a "Spam" folder, reducing noise and improving the quality of actionable feedback. With these updates, Sentry is making it easier for developers to get context into bug reports without being overwhelmed by unuseful submissions.
