Sentry Data Wash Now Offering Advanced Scrubbing

Sentry has introduced Advanced Data Scrubbing, an addition to its existing server-side data scrubbing features, providing users with greater control over redacting sensitive data from events. The new functionality allows for custom regular expressions, hashing sensitive data rather than removing it, and limiting individual "rules" to specific subsections of the event. This update is exposed via a new rule-based system, which can be applied in addition to existing data scrubbing settings. Sentry aims to provide more control over sensitive data while maintaining its core selling points as an error monitoring platform.
