Anomaly Alerts Now in Open Beta: Smarter Monitoring, Fewer False Alarms
Blog post from Sentry
Sentry has introduced anomaly alerts in open beta, allowing users to set up smart monitoring with fewer false alarms. Anomaly alerts automatically learn expected patterns and adjust dynamically over time, reducing the need for manual configuration and guesswork. The system uses a blend of two algorithms, Matrix Profiling and Prophet Forecasting, to detect anomalies and minimize false positives and negatives. Sentry's anomaly detection is built on established open-source implementations and is now available to all users on Trial, Business, or Enterprise plans, with more information available in the docs for configuring alerts.
