Bay Area OWASP Meetup presentation

Semgrep, a program analysis tool developed by Yoann Padioleau, was showcased at the Bay Area OWASP Meetup's "Hacker Days" event on May 22nd, where it was highlighted for its ability to write security and correctness queries on source code across multiple languages like Python, Java, Go, C, and JavaScript. With a user-friendly "grep-like" interface, Semgrep offers a semantic approach to code analysis, which was initially inspired by Coccinelle, a tool Padioleau contributed to for Linux kernel refactoring. Originally developed at Facebook, Semgrep is now being further developed by r2c, with Padioleau working full-time on the project.
