In 2022, while Machine Learning (ML) and Data Science (DS) are becoming integral across various sectors like robotics, healthcare, and transportation, existing tools for developing and deploying models are lagging behind, often being too complex or unsuitable for the needs of developers. Sematic addresses this gap by providing an open-source framework designed to streamline the creation and execution of ML and DS pipelines. It simplifies the onboarding process and empowers developers to focus on data and model insights rather than the intricacies of infrastructure. Inspired by successful tools like Ruby on Rails and Heroku, Sematic aims to transform rough prototypes into fully automated Continuous Learning Machines, allowing models to remain fresh and relevant in a changing world without requiring extensive infrastructure expertise.
