Alongside Xcode, the environment includes important tools like Flutter (1.17.1), fastlane (2.148.1), cocoapods (1.9.1), and rvm with Ruby 2.5.1. Developers can switch between Xcode versions using the command `xcversion select <xcode_version>`.
