Semaphore v1.1 Release Roundup: Building in the Open
Blog post from Semaphore
Semaphore has released version 1.1 of its Community Edition, marking its first update since launch, with the aim of refining its release process for the open-source platform. The update focuses on enhancing user experience with improvements like clearer timestamps, an upgraded YAML editor powered by Monaco, better job status visibility, and the introduction of starter templates. Concurrently, efforts are underway to develop the Enterprise Edition, which will offer advanced features for larger organizations, such as metrics insights, detailed logging, and improved role-based access control. This release also saw the first community contributions, highlighting the collaborative nature of open-source development. Semaphore is planning further enhancements, including Git-agnostic integration and workflow consistency improvements, with a commitment to building openly and incorporating community feedback.
