Semaphore Now Supports Ubuntu 24.04

Semaphore has introduced Ubuntu 24.04 as a new build image option, allowing users to run their CI/CD pipelines on the latest Ubuntu LTS release without any disruption to existing workflows. The update includes new versions of popular software, improved performance, and extended security support, making it a beneficial option for enhanced pipeline efficiency. The Ubuntu 24.04 image is available on high-performance e2 and f1 machines, which offer cost-effective builds and fast processing for CPU-intensive tasks. Semaphore also plans to deprecate Ubuntu 20.04 following its end-of-life in May 2025, with a future announcement to aid in migration.
