Semaphore Classic Deprecation – How to prepare

Semaphore Classic, a CI/CD platform integral to the company since 2012, will be discontinued by September 30, 2023, as the team shifts focus to the enhanced Semaphore 2. To facilitate a smooth transition, a Migration Guide and dedicated support are available for users, and brownouts will occur throughout September to minimize disruption. The new platform offers a range of improved features, including a visual workflow editor, advanced machine performance, monorepo support, and enhanced metrics for project tracking. Users can maintain their current pricing plans or migrate to new ones, and those using Ubuntu 18.04 are already halfway through the migration process, while additional guidance is provided for Ubuntu 14.04 users. Semaphore 2 aims to offer a modern and powerful experience, with continuous evolution to meet user needs.
