New Dashboard: Simpler, Faster, Responsive
Blog post from Semaphore
Semaphore is introducing a redesigned dashboard that simplifies its layout and enhances performance, rolling out to users over the next few days. The update addresses previous issues where the dashboard displayed all accessible projects in a changing order based on activity, leading to information overload. The new design concentrates on showing the status of each project's main branch and makes it easier to access specific projects by organizing them into uniform rows with build status indicators. Users can personalize their dashboard by marking projects as favorites, which will then appear at the top of the list, and even toggle the view to show only these favorites. Projects are sorted alphabetically by default, but preferences are saved for future visits. Additionally, the updated dashboard is fully responsive, allowing for convenient mobile access, and user feedback is encouraged through comments or support contact.
