ScyllaDB release: version 0.14
Blog post from ScyllaDB
ScyllaDB has released version 0.14 of its open-source, Cassandra-compatible NoSQL database, which is known for superior performance and low latency. This release, primarily focused on stability and bug fixes, ensures that ScyllaDB no longer consumes 100% CPU when idle and introduces the requirement of using the XFS file system by default, with the option to bypass this in developer mode at the cost of performance. The Docker image of ScyllaDB always operates in developer mode. Additionally, the release includes a CQL update with a TRUNCATE TABLE alias for TRUNCATE. ScyllaDB is gearing up for a GA release in January 2016, and users are encouraged to check the wiki for contributions, issues, and feature details, as well as engage with the community through the scylladb-users mailing list and social media for ongoing updates.
