Sauce Labs’ December 2023 customer newsletter highlights company news, product releases, browser and device support, and framework updates for its continuous testing platform. Key announcements include the introduction of Sauce Visual, a visual testing tool intended to identify UI differences and reduce test-code complexity; the public beta of Sauce Connect 5.0; XCUITest support for simulators; general availability of usage analytics; and improved navigation for test cases and commands. The company also added support for Safari 17 on macOS 13, Chrome 119, Edge 118, and Firefox 119, while encouraging users to use its Platform Configurator for automated-testing capability settings. In addition, saucectl received updates for the latest Cypress, Playwright, and TestCafe frameworks.
