Introducing Perspectives: See your content from any angle

Sanity has introduced a new feature called "Perspectives," designed to simplify the creation of audience-specific views and enhance content previews for developers and content teams. This feature allows users to add a single parameter to queries, enabling customized content variations without altering code, thus improving the ability to deliver contextual experiences across different devices, channels, and contexts. Perspectives is integrated into the Sanity platform, supporting GROQ and GraphQL, and is compatible with new versions of the Vision plugin, JavaScript client, and Next.js toolkit. The initial release includes three perspectives: previewDrafts, published, and raw, which help streamline the process of generating high-confidence previews by removing the need for complex query logic. These enhancements aim to make it easier for developers to manage content variations for internationalization, A/B testing, and point-in-time snapshots. Sanity users are encouraged to explore these features and provide feedback to shape future developments.
