Sanity Studio has introduced a new feature called Comments to enhance collaboration in content creation by allowing users to converse directly within documents, thereby eliminating the need for external feedback channels like email or Slack. Comments facilitate a more streamlined workflow by enabling field-level commenting, user mentions, email notifications, threaded replies, comment status tracking, and feedback archives, all of which help maintain clarity and efficiency in reviewing and updating content. This feature, currently in open beta and available for projects on Studio version 3.19.0 or higher, aims to close the feedback loop and improve the overall content development process by increasing engagement from cross-functional teams and ensuring comprehensive reviews.
