A New Native Authoring Experience and Starter for Next.js

Sanity has introduced a new native authoring experience for Next.js, featuring Sanity Studio v3 as a React dependency, allowing developers to integrate a customizable authoring environment directly into their Next.js sites. This setup offers a range of features, including real-time collaborative editing, instant content previews, and webhook-triggered Incremental Static Revalidation. It aims to resolve common trade-offs faced by developers, such as database hosting and inflexible content management systems, by providing a performant and flexible content API. Sanity's approach allows for content to be managed without the complexities of monorepos or additional build tools, and supports a scalable, structured content model suitable for both small projects and large teams. The announcement coincides with the Next.js conference, where Sanity will present further insights into integrating their products with Next.js, and invites users to participate in the upcoming Sanity Product Event in December.
