How We Work: Working with Multiple Agents in Parallel

Part 2 of the How We Work series by the SageOx team explores the evolution of their approach to parallel processing with multiple agents, highlighting changes in strategy from using up to 50 agents simultaneously to fewer, more efficient ones. Initially, deploying numerous agents, even with overlapping tasks and conflicts, was effective for achieving swift outcomes, despite the chaos akin to multiple engineers working on identical tasks. Over time, advancements in tools like Conductor and improvements in Claude have reduced the need for so many agents, as these tools now manage task dependencies more intelligently, mitigating issues like merge conflicts. This shift allows for fewer agents to achieve the desired results without the complications of excessive parallelism, reflecting a more mature and efficient workflow. The team plans to share further insights and invites feedback for future topics.
