Running Claude Code Agents in the Cloud on RWX

AI coding agents can operate synchronously on engineers’ local machines or asynchronously in cloud environments, with the latter allowing agents to work autonomously for longer periods without continual human supervision while isolating their resources. RWX is presented as a general cloud-computing platform for building such agentic workflows, including automating code changes and pull-request creation. The example workflow installs and configures Anthropic’s Claude Code with permissions bypassed, stores a locally generated OAuth token in an RWX vault, reads a prompt from a project file, and runs Claude in the cloud to make changes and produce a pull-request description and title. It then uses a GitHub package to create a pull request with a dedicated branch, incorporating the original prompt, agent output, and RWX run link into the description, with links provided to a full implementation and an example Claude-generated pull request.
