New Base Config to Run Directly from Container Images

RWX has expanded its CI/CD base image support from two predefined Ubuntu options, 22.04 and 24.04, to direct references to any Docker container image using standard image:tag syntax. The former RWX-specific Ubuntu customizations, including common packages, quality-of-life settings, and Docker support, are now provided through the open-source rwx/base package, which currently supports Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04, while users can select config: none to run other images such as Debian without those additions. The change accompanies RWX’s ability to build container images directly in its runtime and required removing fixed assumptions about shells, users, and workspaces. RWX also automatically produces a container image for every pipeline step, which users can retrieve with rwx pull, leveraging a new container runtime designed to avoid Docker-related performance limitations.
