Atlassian has recently announced Atlassian Connect for Bitbucket, an integration architecture that embeds add-ons directly into the Bitbucket user interface, allowing for a seamless workflow. In line with this, Rollbar has introduced a new add-on for the Bitbucket community, enabling users to monitor errors and exceptions directly within Bitbucket without switching between multiple tools. Installation of the Rollbar add-on is straightforward for existing Bitbucket users, and once installed, Rollbar data becomes available on the Bitbucket repository dashboard. The integration uses fine-grained permissions to manage access to various Bitbucket features such as repositories and pull requests. Rollbar is excited to contribute to the Bitbucket ecosystem and is working towards full support, including issues, source control, and authentication, while inviting user feedback to improve their offering.
