Resolve Now Fixes Your Errors, Not Just Diagnoses Them
Blog post from Rollbar
Rollbar has introduced Resolve, an AI-assisted production-error remediation feature that uses error context, repository access through GitHub, and root-cause analysis to identify affected code paths, generate a proposed fix, test it in an isolated ephemeral environment, and open a pull request containing the changes and test results. The product is positioned as the final stage of Rollbar’s detect, diagnose, and fix workflow alongside Session Replay and AI Root Cause Analysis, with the goal of reducing manual investigation and patching work. Rollbar distinguishes Resolve from competing code-generation tools by emphasizing test validation before review, although fixes can still be provided when complex test suites cannot be run during the beta. Resolve is available across Rollbar plans using the company’s AI credit system rather than per-seat pricing, and users must install the Rollbar GitHub App, link repositories to projects, configure eligible errors, and set a credit budget.
