Introducing Interactive Slack Notifications

Rollbar enhances its integration with Slack, allowing users to take real-time actions on exceptions directly within Slack, which supports continuous delivery and DevOps best practices. Previously limited to read-only alerts, the new functionality enables users to assign exceptions to teammates, resolve, mute, reopen items, and set their severity levels, provided they are logged into Rollbar. This integration ensures a comprehensive audit trail and restricts updates to team members with Rollbar access. To enable these Slack actions, users need to update their authorization token with a new scope, which is easily done through a link in the app. The feature is enabled by default for new projects, and users can customize its activation at the project or notification rule level.
