Previously, team members could only be added via individual email invitations, leading to confusion and the creation of separate, abandoned accounts when users attempted to join their company's Rollbar account. With the new feature, administrators can set a safelist for email domains, allowing anyone with an address from those domains to join the account automatically after confirming their email. This streamlines the onboarding process by eliminating the need for one-off invitations and reducing confusion when accessing Rollbar through links from platforms like Slack, Jira, or GitHub. While invites remain enabled and safelists are off by default, this feature marks the first step in improving team integration, with future plans to explore direct signups and sharable links, all while maintaining privacy and security standards.
